After an incredible 2016, we are really looking forward to 2017! FAAM kicked off the year with a community meeting on February 21st. Our medical advisor, Dr. Jay Lieberman, shared the latest research on Early Introduction to Foods. He explained the implications of recent studies and shared the current guidelines for introducing foods to infants, especially those with a history of food allergies in the family. After an informative Q&A, he demonstrated how an EpiPen works and we trained with all of the available auto-injectors on the market. Thank you to everyone who spent their evening with us! We also thank Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis for providing a classroom in the their education center.
