With all of the rain our area received the week leading up to the hunt, we were fortunate that St. Paul's UMC allowed us to use their multipurpose room for an indoor egg hunt. Yes, you read that correctly, an INDOOR egg hunt!
The eggs were hidden under balloons and streamers in pools, buckets, tents, and under rugs. Our kids were not disappointed, from babies to teenagers, they all loved the balloons and had an exciting time collecting eggs filled with non-food treasures. The parents had a great time as well, as we were able to relax a bit and enjoy getting to know each other. Ms. Rainbow painted faces and made balloon animals and the kids enjoyed decorating eggs and taking pictures in the photo booth.
We send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped! We're especially grateful to our fellow food allergy mom, Jill Connell, for starting this egg hunt four years ago. May you all have a happy and healthy Easter.
